I live in the New York/ Long Island area, today we got slammed with snow as many of you may know. The roads were awful this morning and my PM didn't want us out there trying to walk and deliver anything so they had us sit back until it lightened up a little, clean our trucks, and then they decided to hold back the dps and residual mail and only do parcels and spur runs. Was done by 2:30 today. Overall I'm in my 5th month as a CCA and couldn't be happier about the office I was placed in. My supervisors are constantly there for support and to send help if need, not to just the CCAs but regulars as well, they are understanding, carriers come first to them and they really look out of us. Of course they don't take shit and don't like some of the things the lazy regulars pull but overall I have no complaints. The work is there for me and I'm a good worker, but if I ever need a day off they try their best to accommodate me. Put in the work and they reward you. Been to a lot of offices now to work on a random day and to also do Sundays.
