We were in a room tat faced an office block but the well designed curtains maintained privacy. Staff were lovely - smiling and professional. States I'm thinking about going: I've planned on going to New York, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Michigan (The only state I HAVE to go on the 25-28th). Other considerations: I really don't mind when i'm at a certain place, since my main objective is to have fun, and secondly look at colleges, I don't mind if I can't see the colleges. I don't really have an idea for a budget. My parents will be helping me out with costs, and I have a few thousand USD myself, I won't be traveling with much cash, relying mostly on credit cards (Is this a stupid idea? ). My dates of travel are pretty flexible, except for the 25th to 28th there I have to be in Northern Michigan. I will be travelling alone, so safe/well known accommodations would be nice, I really just need a place to put my bag down/keep my gear at while I explore the city, and to sleep. I'm kinda interested in couch surfing/airbnb, but i'm not sure how safe that would be for me. I rather be safe this time around… My medical needs are pretty specific, I have mild eczema, requiring me to take a sleeping pill to sleep comfortably, which is why I'm having second thoughts on couch surfing.
