I was single, fairly well paid in Silicon Valley, and living comfortably cheap (renting a room from a friend, modest high-mileage car, international travel as part of my work, volunteering a lot, happy to eat out regularly with friends), giving money away and investing the rest. I inherited a couple of key commitments from my dad: (1) spend less than you make and (2) compound interest is miraculous. (He gave me a little money when I was 16, with the condition I'd meet with his broker and invest it. Thanks tons for the lesson, Dad! ) My relationship to work seems to be an unusual one. When I was in graduate school, the folks paying my fellowship checked up with me each year to see how I was doing. I thought I needed to prove myself, that I was making sufficient progress toward the degree.

Post says he's adding to the home with a massive underground bunker, which he says will survive the end of days. He says he loves living out in the sticks, where he can do what he calls, "cowboy s***, " like shooting guns. Looks like a pretty sweet place to kick back and smoke his own weed. Hopefully, Post doesn't put the apocalypse bunker to the test any time soon.
The air-conditioned accommodation is 650 metres from White Sands Beach Park, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The location of this property was perfect. Just a short drive away from a grocery store. It was also between Kona and Captain Cook, allowing us to get to all of our activities quickly. The kitchen was well stocked, better than most rentals. The owner left us a box of Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts! What an unexpected gift! I would definately stay here again (even without the gift).
