On Monday, Governor Steve Sisolak extended the current pause for another month, keeping the tight restrictions in place as coronavirus numbers rise in the state. As of Monday, there have been just under 190, 000 cases in Nevada and 2, 559 deaths, with more than 2, 000 of those in Clark County, home to Las Vegas. "I know the mitigation restrictions in place under the current pause are devastating to many Nevadans who just want to go back to normal, " Sisolak said. "But as I've said for nine months now -- we must do what we can to protect the health and safety of the public. That remains more important than ever as we experience these record numbers. I've been a grateful lurker here for awhile and applaud your efforts to help one another design lives that are fruitful and satisfying! Without knowing it, I've been on a Coast FIRE plan for a few decades. I was single, fairly well paid in Silicon Valley, and living comfortably cheap (renting a room from a friend, modest high-mileage car, international travel as part of my work, volunteering a lot, happy to eat out regularly with friends), giving money away and investing the rest. I inherited a couple of key commitments from my dad: (1) spend less than you make and (2) compound interest is miraculous. (He gave me a little money when I was 16, with the condition I'd meet with his broker and invest it. Thanks tons for the lesson, Dad! ) My relationship to work seems to be an unusual one. When I was in graduate school, the folks paying my fellowship checked up with me each year to see how I was doing. I thought I needed to prove myself, that I was making sufficient progress toward the degree.

Getty Cannes Long before it was synonymous with the International Film Festival and earned its reputation as a playground for the world's dizzyingly well-heeled (and home to excess in everything from luxury cars to haute couture fashions), Cannes was a shimmering, seaside destination made for resting and people-watching—something that remains true. But it also offers extraordinary views and culture. Climb the winding staircases and pass the pastel-coated homes in Le Suquet, the city's old quarter, and you'll end up at the Musée de la Castre, a home for ethnographic art in a medieval fortress overlooking the marina and the Croisette. For restorative beaches and landscapes free of crowds, take a 15-minute ferry ride to two of the Lérins islands off the coast: Ile St. Honorat, known for its working monastery and forest groves, and Ile Ste-Marguerite, the spot for hidden coves and beaches. Getty Èze In craggy cliffs high above the sea, the medieval village of Èze is a delightful step back in time—and blissfully calm for the Riviera.

Post says he's adding to the home with a massive underground bunker, which he says will survive the end of days. He says he loves living out in the sticks, where he can do what he calls, "cowboy s***, " like shooting guns. Looks like a pretty sweet place to kick back and smoke his own weed. Hopefully, Post doesn't put the apocalypse bunker to the test any time soon.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 650 metres from White Sands Beach Park, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The location of this property was perfect. Just a short drive away from a grocery store. It was also between Kona and Captain Cook, allowing us to get to all of our activities quickly. The kitchen was well stocked, better than most rentals. The owner left us a box of Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts! What an unexpected gift! I would definately stay here again (even without the gift).
