The Atlantic Rally for Cruisers yacht race from the Canary Islands to St. Lucia happens in mid-late dec., with most yachts having made landfall in St. Lucia by Dec. 22 or so. Great time here for that - and goes to show that the weather is usually great with breezes and lots of sun!
