There isnt anything that brings people together. The rooms are designed in a way where the beds arent facing each other. This is good if you like privacy but its difficult to meet people in the same room if that is what you are after. Small things were missing like a clothes line for wet towels etc. & no hand soap in the toilet which is something pretty basic. Location is really good & rooms are clean. Clean, nice beds, swimming pool, jacuzzi and facilities. Staff aren't around in the evening so although pool is supposed to close at 10pm, there were people playing heavy bass music at 6. 30am. Book here if you want somewhere to stay whilst partying in surfers paradise, not if you're looking for somewhere chilled by the beach. England, Female, 25-30 Nice hostel, kitchen needs improving. People need to learn to clean up after themselves. Lady on bunk reception was lovely, and the people at the Island reception, apart from one lady with dark hair and glasses working She has a bad attitude and made us feel really rubbish.
