Now is a great time to choose to live here - it's affordable and beautiful, which is a rare combination when it comes to places to live. I just had an awesome service experience with an auto shop in Hamilton, I am not trying to plug his business ( i will let you know if you want) but it got me curious as to other small businesses that are hidden gems in the city. I have been to lots of auto places in the past but it was perfect, it was for my older car, they just take cash and the price was crazy cheap. they even gave me a ride back to my work because it was raining ( I only work a few blocks away) and the guy was just so friendly and accommodating. It kind of made me think of other places I should look into. I remember a few years ago there was a tiny restaurant across from Rankins in the east end called "Mecato" it only lasted about the year but I ate from there every weekend just because the service, food and people were amazing. I never would have found the place if a friend had not mentioned it since there was no advertising of any kind. I have been to other small places since but never got the same experience. any one else have any stories or recommendations?

Hamilton island accommodation specials cheap

Hi r/Hamilton, I will be traveling from the east coast to your city and will be playing in a sporting event soon. I am really excited, considering I have never been before – I'm always stoked to visit a new city anywhere in Canada! I'll be there from July 31st to August 6th. I have secured my accommodations as close to the event's location as possible, which is still about a 30-minute walk away (from the Eleanor area to the Chappel West area). I am looking to reduce my travel time to and fro the event everyday... And I am too cheap to spend money on renting a car, as well as spending money on taxis. I started doing some research on whether Hamilton offers bike rental services. I came across SoBi, but their services don't really fit my needs. I am looking to rent a bike for the entire time I am in Hamilton. Additionally, I am looking for a bike that is, at bare minimum, operational – tires hold air, brakes work. Then I started thinking that I may be able to buy a very cheap bike off of Kijiji.

However, it is proving to be difficult to find one that is, at bare minimum, operational. My final idea was to reach out to the local subreddit (you guys! ) to see if either someone would be able to rent their bike to me or to offer other alternatives/suggestions on how I may be able to acquire a bike for the short time I'm in Hamilton. Thank you in advance! Edit: 6'2" M
